Happy 90th anniversary to Wolverhampton Speedway

The team at Event Genius and Ticket Arena would like to extend hearty congratulations to our clients, Wolverhampton Wolves, as they celebrate a piece of speedway history this week.

On Monday 28th May 1928, the world’s first ever Speedway event was held on the circuit at the Monmore Green Stadium, making their home the oldest known venue for the sport.

The Wolves will be marking the occasion with a night of celebrations that include a Premier League meeting against Poole Pirates alongside some extra special attractions, including a number of World Championship winning bikes and a huge light gun display.
